CULTURE OF BATHE-ING

Brooklyn

Culture of Bathe-ing, Therme Group’s social-bathing platform, staged its first event on the Domino Park waterfront in Williamsburg, Brooklyn: an open-air winter village of wood-fired and electric saunas, cold plunges, and guided bathing rituals beneath the Williamsburg Bridge. At its center stood Attercop, a wood-fired social sauna designed by Rintala Eggertsson Architects, with a cultural program curated alongside Pioneer Works.

FISHKO Inc. project managed, produced, and operated the festival for Therme Group, from business model and ticketing plan through site design, construction, permitting, staffing, and day-to-day operations. FISHKO Inc. also secured the FDNY variance for the wood-fired stoves and NYC Health Department bathing approval.
