UPO DRONE SHOW
New York City
LEGO flew a massive, interactive drone show over the Hudson from Liberty State Park in New Jersey, with Lower Manhattan as the backdrop. The show, Unidentified Playing Objects, used 400 drones to turn spacecraft drawn by six children from the UK, the US, Hong Kong, and Denmark into animated figures in the sky: a straw-hat rocket with reindeer antlers, a butterfly-winged bed, a turtle, a dog, a dinosaur with a jetpack, and an alien saucer.
FISHKO Inc. managed all aspects of production and on-site operations and was responsible for securing federal, state, and local permits.
